In the USA and UK put their numerical dates in opposite, so where in the US they write 11/24/12, in the UK we would write 24/Nov/12.
We therefore always ask clients to use 3 letter abbreviation for months to avoid confusion in any communication. (i.e. JAN for January). Thanks.

Being tired after a long flight is no excuse for rudeness, and drivers are instructed not to accept any abuse whatsoever, be it verbal or physical. Overseas visitors are reminded that the UK is a generous multicultural society made up of citizens of all nationalities, religions and beliefs and persuasions. All are considered equal and must be treated that way.
Also please note: 'Please' and Thank you' are used in almost every verbal request, please remember this, as this is almost a requirement to get anything 'done' in the UK!
